Articles
As we continue to develop our website, this page will be home to articles that will explore different aspects of the Christian faith in the light of God’s Word, along with messages based on specific Biblical passages. Articles are available in .pdf format, which can be accessed using the Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is available here. We pray that these articles will prove helpful to you, and if you have questions or suggestions for further articles, please feel free to contact Pastor Jim. And when you read these articles, don’t just take them on face value. In his first New Testament letter, the Apostle John wrote, “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” When you read these articles and messages, test them in the light of God’s Word.
Since arriving in Prince George, I have discovered that many churches are dealing with issues of the spiritual world, demons, and demonology, in a way that is simply not Scriptural. In this article, I have looked to God’s Word as the final authority to learn what God actually teaches us about the world of evil spirits, and how we are to deal with them.

In the last chapter of his letter to the Church of Philippi, the Apostle Paul explains the secret of contentment. 5. The Significance of Christ’s Ascension into Heaven
On the Christian calendar, and in the holidays that we celebrate in this country, Ascension Day seems to be the poor, neglected cousin of Christmas and Easter. But we remember the day that Christ ascended into heaven as one of the most important days in the history of the world! In the last chapter of Luke’s Gospel, we learn about Jesus’ ascension into heaven, and in this message, we explore the importance of his ascension. Luke 24
6. God’s Glorious Self-Revelation
While some say that we can’t know who God is, the Bible says otherwise; He has revealed Himself in His Word, and in His Creation. In Psalm 19 we learn how the heavens declare God’s glory, how the skies proclaim the work of His hands, and how God’s Word shows us who He is. Psalm 19
7. 77 Names That Reveal Jesus Christ
In the third chapter of Luke’s gospel, we are confronted with a genealogy, a list of seventy-seven names. We know that all of Scripture is inspired by God, and given to us for a reason… and that includes this passage. What does this list of 77 names teach us about our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ? Luke 3:23-38
