“In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage– with great patience and careful instruction” (2 Timothy 4:1-2).
The life of a Christian is based in God’s Word, and the foundation of Christian life is submission to the preaching of that Word. The Word of God is a “lamp to my feet and a light for my path” (Psalm 119:105), the “word of truth and the gospel of your salvation” (Ephesians 1:13).
