Our Mission

“Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts” (Psalm 105:1,2).

According to Psalm 105, God’s people have two important callings in this life. These are callings that go together, callings that cannot be separated from one another: we are called to worship our great God, and in so doing we make Him known among the nations. We are called not only to give thanks to the LORD, but also to tell of all His wonderful acts. And that’s why we’re here in Prince George - to plant a church of Jesus Christ in the largest city in Northern British Columbia, and to make Him known among the people of our city. We pray that this website will serve as a tool to make the Lord known in this city, and to lead more and more people to join us in leading a life that brings glory to Him.
The Canadian Reformed Mission in Prince George is a mission of the Canadian Reformed Churches. The Canadian Reformed Church in Smithers, B.C. has sent Pastor Jim Witteveen to Prince George with a twofold mission: first, to reach out especially to the First Nations people of Prince George with the glorious message of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and secondly, to plant a faithful church in Prince George.
